Think globally, act locally and learn through action

Global warming is a dramatically urgent problem and it’s our collective responsibility to act now. Our way of life will have to change – but it will be for the better! It isn’t something we have to fear. We will live healthier, happier lives, and we will reconnect with nature.

If we are going to protect and preserve our little blue planet and the species that inhabit it, we must change the way we live, work and interact with our natural environment. We must completely re-think our energy and transportation systems, and how our communities are planned and designed. We must build, from scratch, new infrastructure and industries that will enable a carbon-free future. We know what needs to be done and we have the technology to do it. Let’s get on with the job.

Below are some actions you and your family can take today to reduce your personal greenhouse gas emissions. But remember, a lot more will be required if we are to prevent the coming climate crisis.
